Hi, hey, what’s up? This is not a poem this time.
I think a lot about what I’ve been achieving and what I have yet to achieve since the year has started. I’m still myself in all I do. I still try to reach my goals. I keep on finding new aspirations everywhere and in everything.
I’ve been doing a lot with photography and I find that I can seek my own meaning in my photographs. It’s not the easiest thing to do, but ones you see it, you actually understand what you were trying to say with your photographs. Or, in my case as well, you just find something pretty to take a photograph of. Photography has become one of those things that I can call a hobby, but as well dedicate my time working on. Taking my camera somewhere just to take shots of random things around me is something I really like to do. One of my goals for in the future is to travel around the world and take lots of beautiful pictures just so I can always remember them by when I get older. I’m rambling right now, I know.
I definitely like being (kind of) a photographer. I mean, I’m no professional, but I definitely seek to be better with my work each time I go out to take photographs. I look at other work from other photographers and think to myself “wow, how do you even do that?” , because that’s what art is suppose to mean, right? That’s what I wanna do.
Anyways, I thought it would be a nice idea to show you some of my favorite photographs that I’ve taken so far this year (or mostly this summer). These photographs are personal favorites of mine and have stood out the most to me.
Duinrell Holiday Park – Wassenaar, the Netherlands – August 20th, 2016. Shot by: acloudslife.
Be A Photographer Challenge 2016 – July 13th-July 22nd, 2016. Shot by: acloudslife.
Kernie’s Wunderland – Kalkar, Germany – July 30th, 2016. Shot by: acloudslife.
I find that I’m really attracted to the eery side of photography, but I also find fascination in brighter colors in photography. I don’t know, it’s a bit of both, I guess.
The year is almost coming to an end, with less than 4 months to go. School is (almost) starting for most people again, including myself, and I wonder what it has in store.
So! Please enjoy these shots and there will, of course, be many more photographs in the future. Sorry I haven’t been much in the blogging world, but I’m happy to be back now.
