I tend to be such a procrastinator and it will forever be the death of me.

Anyways, it hasn’t been a while, but it’s been a while. I just finished my last exam yesterday and I’m so pumped about that. This gives me more time to focus on the things I wanted to focus on for a long time.

So let me focus a little on a new topic today. Three nights ago I attended a 5SOS concert in Amsterdam which was probably the best thing I could’ve done in my life (For those who don’t know, 5SOS is short for 5 Seconds Of Summer). Being there with my mom was already fun enough, but seeing these boys (for the second time) was a chance I couldn’t resist taking. Not only was their opening act “Hey Violet” great, but the crowd was insane. I do not lie when I say that every single song that was sung in that venue, was sang by both the boys and the crowd. Even I sang to every single song. And it was beautiful to witness. One of the best things ever of that night however was meeting my first internet best friend ever. And people may find this silly, but since I met her she has been nothing but the best person in the world. She flew from Washington to come see these boys that make the both of us happy and I don’t think that I could thank them enough for bringing her and I together.

Now the concert itself was amazingly amazing (if that’s even right). Seeing the boys give killer performances, making jokes on stage and talking to the crowd once in a while truly proofs that these boys are being themselves, as they should. I have too many highlights of the show if I’m being honest, but I think one of the best highlights was just seeing the boys having so much fun on stage and reminding us that that is what they love doing. Also at the fact that Michael wants to live in Amsterdam for the rest of his life, if he could.

I purposely did not film anything of the concert, because I did that so many times at other concerts that I attended, that I couldn’t even enjoy concerts like I should’ve. So I decided against filming (even though my mother did take some pictures) and that was probably the best idea, because I enjoyed myself so much and probably got all sweaty from all the dancing and jumping around.

I don’t think words could ever explain the love I have for this band and what they have done for me even if they don’t know. I don’t talk much about it, but these boys are mainly the reason why I started having interest in my music again after a long time. I literally picked up my guitar after nearly a year and started playing again after seeing them as an opening act for One Direction’s WWATour. Listening to their stories, their music and learning about them has shown me why I wanted to make music my priority in the first place. Now that I have some more free time, I’m going to be focusing on what I love (besides blogging) and that’s music.

One more thing I wanted to point out was the live performance 5SOS did of their song Wrapped Around Your Finger from their EP Don’t Stop. Not only is Wrapped Around Your Finger my favourite song ever, but the energy of the crowd and the boys was so magical. I cannot tell you how long I waited to hear a live version of the song since the EP came out last year.

The only thing to say right now is pretty much Thank You to Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin for being amazing and talented musicians bringing back guitars and drums on the radio. Waiting those 313 days was so worth it and all of those amazing experiences gave me a new ultimate goal in life: To one day make people happy the way these four boys from Australia made me and millions of other amazing people the happiest they could’ve ever been in their lives.
