Life Chasing, Roller Coaster Living

I’m starting to think that not only are we the ones busy chasing life, but life is also busy chasing us.

Think about it. One day you have a plan all figured out and going after that plan. Not looking back.You’re letting life chase you. But then you’ve accomplished your plans and then your mind goes blank. You can’t figure out a new plan. You suddenly feel like you’re stuck in quick sand, when you suddenly see life catching on to you. Instead of helping, it keeps on running, never stopping to even acknowledge what’s going on around it. Meanwhile you’re still stuck in quicksand finding a way to catch on to life and finding a way to chase it.

But life isn’t only a chase. Life is also a lot like a roller coaster. It has it’s ups, it’s downs and even some sharp turns sometimes. Life is also full of surprises. And like life, roller coasters also has surprises. Like, that new roller coaster everyone has been talking about. They say how it’s full of surprises, you never know what’s coming. It can go so fast, you can’t even process what will happen next. And life, life is the exact same way.

I don’t think my life will ever be boring to be honest. With life being a chase and a roller coaster ride, it really makes us learn new things along the way. It may be hard sometimes, whether you’re stuck with a blank mind or you have ups and downs. In a way, it kind of makes life fun, because you’ll come to know that one day, you’ll have so many stories to tell people.

And I always remember that my life is just starting and your life is just starting, whether you’re 15, 25 or even 50. I do believe that we decide when our lives star and that it’s never too late to do anything in life. Start the chase, ride that roller coaster and don’t look back. Because, one day, you will leave this world smiling and remembering everything you did to make yourself happy.
